1. Acceptance of Terms

This Terms and Conditions Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement" or "Terms") establishes a legally binding contract between you (whether individually as an end-user or as an authorized representative of a corporate, academic, or institutional entity, hereinafter designated as "User", "you", or "your") and HumanizeBox (hereinafter designated as "Company", "we", "us", or "our").

Your access to and utilization of the website located at humanizebox.com, corresponding subdomains, developer dashboards, mobile web interfaces, software tools, client software libraries, and automated RESTful or WebSocket APIs (collectively designated as the "Platform" or "Services") are expressly conditioned upon your unconditional assent to and continuous compliance with these Terms.

By creating an account, transmitting data payloads, executing an API call, querying an endpoint, or utilizing any of our transformation, refactoring, or humanization tools, you affirm your assent under electronic contracting provisions, including but not limited to the United States Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN Act, 15 U.S.C. § 7001 et seq.) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA), and any corresponding international statutory frameworks.

2. Description of Service

HumanizeBox provides a sophisticated, multi-modal Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) suite engineered to process digital content through specialized natural language heuristics, syntax restructuring, algorithmic refactoring, and synthetic visual artifact scrubbing. Our platform comprises five principal specialized modules:

• AI Text Humanizer: An advanced algorithmic engine designed to modify syntactic rhythm, perplexity scores, burstiness dynamics, and semantic cadence in synthetic, machine-generated text to replicate natural human prose nuances while preserving core semantic meaning.
• AI Humanizer Detector: A multi-classifier analytical utility that scans text fragments and identifies linguistic indicators, statistical uniformity, token predictability, and probable origin against modern detection models.
• AI Code Humanizer: A programming syntax transformer that refactors automated and copilot-generated source code into idiomatic, maintainable, clean code styles adhering to team standards and natural developer conventions.
• AI Image Humanizer: An image processing pipeline designed to soften synthetic visual artifacting, balance unnatural textures, and normalize digital photo parameters.
• AI Humanizer API: Enterprise and developer-grade endpoints enabling programmatic transmission, batched transformation, automated pipeline integration, and quota-governed data ingestion.

We continually improve, update, and evolve our underlying models and architecture. Consequently, HumanizeBox reserves the unconditioned prerogative to enhance, refine, deprecate, or modify any feature, algorithm, or interface element at any time without prior notice.

3. User Eligibility & Account Responsibilities

The Platform is intended exclusively for individuals who satisfy the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction or who possess explicit parental or legal guardian consent. Under no circumstances may individuals under thirteen (13) years of age (or sixteen (16) years of age within the European Economic Area under GDPR Art. 8) access or register for our Services. By accessing HumanizeBox, you explicitly represent and warrant that you satisfy these minimum age thresholds.

Account Security & Credential Confidentiality

When you register for an account or obtain API credentials, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, verifiable, current, and complete registration information;
• Maintain and promptly update your account profile and billing details to ensure ongoing accuracy;
• Safeguard your authentication credentials, multi-factor keys, and API tokens against unauthorized disclosure;
• Immediately notify the HumanizeBox security team of any unauthorized account access, credential compromise, or suspected platform vulnerability;
• Accept full legal and operational responsibility for any activity, query, content submission, or billing expenditure initiated through your credentials.

HumanizeBox disclaims any liability for losses, claims, or damages occasioned by compromised passwords or unshielded API keys stored within public repositories or client-side bundles.

4. Acceptable Use & Fair Usage Policy

HumanizeBox is dedicated to fostering ethical, legal, and productive technological advancement. You agree not to misuse, exploit, or disrupt the Platform, nor encourage or assist any third party in doing so. Strict compliance with this Acceptable Use Policy is mandatory for all free, paid, and enterprise users.

Prohibited Activities

Without limitation, you shall not, directly or indirectly:

• Circumvent Platform Security: Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our servers, networks, application firewalls, or rate-limiting layers without express written authorization;
• Automated Scraping & Denial of Service: Deploy spiders, crawlers, automated scraping robots, or headless scripts to extract proprietary site content, replicate databases, or launch denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks;
• Reverse Engineering: Decompile, reverse assemble, disassemble, decipher, or otherwise attempt to derive source code, underlying weights, internal prompt topologies, or proprietary heuristic parameters;
• Malicious & Fraudulent Content: Transmit, transform, or distribute content that is defamatory, unlawful, harassing, infringing, deceptive, fraudulent, or contains malware, ransomware, spyware, or phishing payloads;
• Academic Misconduct & Disinformation: Use the platform to commit academic fraud, violate strict institutional honor codes where prohibited by law, fabricate false legal evidence, or orchestrate large-scale deceptive political disinformation campaigns;
• Infrastructure Flooding: Conduct artificially bloated, abusive bulk requests engineered to saturate GPU clusters or degrade the quality of service for other legitimate subscribers.

5. Intellectual Property Rights & Ownership

Clear demarcation of intellectual property ownership is paramount to our service philosophy and user trust.

Your Content & Transformation Outputs

You retain 100% full legal ownership, copyright, and title to all original materials, raw text, code snippets, prompts, and images that you input into HumanizeBox.

Furthermore, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all modified, refactored, or humanized output generated by our processing engines from your validly owned input becomes your exclusive intellectual property upon generation. HumanizeBox claims no ongoing proprietary copyright in your finished documents, transformed essays, refactored codebases, or processed graphics.

You grant HumanizeBox only the limited, non-exclusive, revocable, royalty-free, worldwide license strictly necessary to transmit, cache, execute algorithmic transformation upon, and return your data payloads during active processing sessions. Unless you explicitly opt in to enterprise collaborative training programs, your private text inputs are never sold, publicly published, or leased to third-party ad brokers.

HumanizeBox Proprietary Rights

All software engines, web designs, user experience layouts, visual branding, trademarks, logos, service marks, heuristic algorithms, audio-visual elements, documentation, and underlying codebases powering HumanizeBox remain the sole and exclusive intellectual property of HumanizeBox and its licensors, protected by United States, European, and international copyright, trade secret, and trademark legislation.

6. API Usage, Keys, & Rate Limits

Developers and enterprise teams accessing the HumanizeBox API agree to adhere strictly to the following technical and operational obligations:

• API Key Confidentiality: Secret API keys represent private credentials. You must never expose secret keys in client-side repositories, public GitHub commits, or uncompiled mobile binary packages.
• Prohibition of Resale or Arbitrage: You may not repackage, re-license, sublicense, or resell raw HumanizeBox API access as a standalone commodity or competitive white-label clone without an executed Enterprise Master Agreement.
• Rate Limiting & Back-off Architecture: Requests must conform to allocated tier limits (requests per minute and tokens per minute). Upon receipt of an HTTP 429 ("Too Many Requests") status code, client applications must immediately implement exponential back-off and jitter algorithms.
• Quota Expirations: Monthly prepaid token quotas do not accumulate or roll over into subsequent billing cycles unless expressly stipulated in writing in your customized Service Level Agreement (SLA).

7. Disclaimer of Warranties ("As-Is" Service)

WE EXPLICITLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER STATUTORY, EXPRESS, OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT.

Third-Party AI Detector Variance Disclaimer

While HumanizeBox employs cutting-edge statistical linguistic modeling designed to minimize artificial syntax patterns, we make no representation or guarantee that transformed text will bypass 100% of third-party AI detectors at all times (including but not limited to Turnitin, GPTZero, CopyLeaks, or Originality.ai). Third-party detection algorithms frequently update classifiers, heuristic thresholds, and statistical baselines without notice. Users are solely responsible for verifying that their final documentation satisfies their own accuracy, editorial, academic, and ethical requirements.

We do not warrant that the Services will function completely uninterrupted, error-free, timely, or completely immune to latency spikes, network failures, or server downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL HUMANIZEBOX, ITS PARENT ENTITY, SUBSIDIARIES, DIRECTORS, INVESTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, OR PARTNERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER.

THIS LIMITATION ENCOMPASSES, WITHOUT RESTRICTION:

• Damages for loss of profits, enterprise revenues, or anticipated financial savings;
• Loss of business goodwill, commercial opportunities, or strategic reputation;
• Loss, corruption, or compromise of data, source code, or internal records;
• Academic penalties, professional reprimands, or institutional disqualifications;
• Service interruptions, server downtime, computational latency, or transmission delays;
• Any defamatory, unauthorized, or unlawful conduct attributable to any third party using the Platform.

IN NO CASE SHALL THE AGGREGATE, CUMULATIVE LIABILITY OF HUMANIZEBOX FOR ALL CLAIMS, DISPUTES, OR ACTIONS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO HUMANIZEBOX IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE OCCURRENCE OF THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR FIFTY UNITED STATES DOLLARS ($50.00 USD), WHICHEVER REPRESENTS THE GREATER SUM.

9. Modifications, Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

HumanizeBox reserves the continuous discretion to amend, update, or supersede these Terms at any time. When material modifications occur, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document and, where practicable, display a prominent notice on the Platform dashboard or transmit electronic notice to your registered email address. Your persistent use of the Platform following such revisions constitutes your conclusive acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or related to their interpretation, breach, or termination shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is expressly disclaimed.

Mandatory Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), rather than in a court of general jurisdiction. You and HumanizeBox agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted exclusively on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
